My Pacemaker is experiencing pretty terrible battery life* these days so a power supply will solve the problem for the time being.
I'm looking for the power supply specs for the Pacemaker 666 or better yet a generic power supply that will get the job done. Any recommendations would be useful.
In the long run I need to replace the battery. Has anyone done this successfully? Is there any credible replacement documents online?
Thanks!
Spencer Thayer
*: I've already replace the hard-drive with a 128gb SSD which has had some limited improvement in battery life.
Pacemaker AC Power Supply
Re: Pacemaker AC Power Supply
Yeah replacing battery has been done before, though I think you have to solder the connection on. Should be a post or two in the forum as it's been questioned many times in the past.
Spec from the power supply that came with my original 120Gb Pacemaker is 5V DC @ 2A. Actual connection is quite small, smaller than many common power connectors, but not so uncommon you couldn't find one. A power adapter with multiple connection heads would probably have one included. Probably also a post on this in the forum
