Re: WHAT SIZE TORX SCREW DOES PACEMAKER USE?
Seems to be a Torx T6 (on my Model 666, 60-GB Pacer), as judged by the fit from my "Ifixit" electronics repair kit. I haven't actually unscrewed the screws yet so I can't help you on that front, but Ifixit may be a website you look at for screw replacement... S Awesome! Thanks, I'm still waiting on...

The SSD seems to perform marginally faster, but its just more that I have to worry less about dropping or similar mechanical problems. KingSpec 1.8" SSD ZIF/PATA - I got 64gb Thats the SSD, make ...

Re: Windows 7 Failure to recognize Pacemaker.
Actually I have found that with my wireless mouse and DDJ-T1, the front ports work best.Sox wrote:Ive heard of differences in ports on some PCs, between those on the motherboard and thoses acting as a hub on the front panel. Anything is worth a try when you are stuck

Re: Windows 7 Failure to recognize Pacemaker.
Its less about the ports, and more about getting a decent quality cord with a ferrite core on it. a lot of people have reported that as being the only problem they could figure out.DrBrazil wrote:Roger, 60G model.
I'll proceed to play with different USB ports, as you suggested.
Thanks for tips, again!

Re: How to...Swap a HDD for an SSD
Good work Fazz. Once the pics are in it may be worth us mass emailing all our members (new & old forums) with a link to this as I know there has been interest in being able to do this I found it remarkably easy, once I realised there was a locking system on the ZIF connectors. I'm going to have to ...

How to...Swap a HDD for an SSD
Ok guys, so this pictorial isn't a pictorial yet. I've gone through the motions and done the HDD to SSD swap successfully, but I need to wait on a torxdriver to be able to screw the PMD back together and I don't have access to a camera at the moment. For now, I'll write it up and fill the blanks lat...

Re: Compatibility with iTunes??
Answering #3 off the top of my head/from memory (I haven't used iTunes in a long, long time): Cases don't transfer, but tracks do. I think this has always happened, despite PME "supporting itunes". Can someone else confirm/deny this?
