Sounds to me like it is no longer charging and/or holding charge. Coukd be a dicky wire, the battery or the charging circuit. It shouldn't be necessarry in orde to upgrade, but if all else is lost have you tried reformatting the drive through the dev menu so you database gets wiped and you start again?

I guess you mean the analysing within the editor, as the Pacemaker doesn't do any analysis itself. I've never tried it, but if there is an option to turn off analysis then I guess it doesn't have to be analysed. This means you will not have the bpm info, nor the beat graph available to you. I guess ...

Sorry, I'd forgotton about this. I can confirm that the download links in this post of firmware verison is currently looking for an ftp username and password. I see if we can work out how to avoid this, or else will added them as attachments to this thread

Who knows. If you want the space copy it to your pc/mac before deleting then put it back if you seem to get issue. Probably dont need it

Why do you need to zoom? Only really need it if editing. Tbh the s/w is pretty old so compatibilty is never guaranteed with newer OS

If it only crashes when zooming I wonder if the prolem is video driver based.
- Have the video drivers been updated sine the last time all was ok?
- Can you rollback a video change using a restore point?
