Hi.

So I have not used my pacemaker in few months. When I power on, it will boot but no tunes then the play button will flash . In device manager : Other Devices: File-backed storage gadget? I have never seen this error in my life over the years! Please don't tell me it's dead!!!

No and I have never heard of this before either. I don't know what to expect to see it as in Device Manager and I can't check as I've lent mine out (hadn't been used in 18 months, yet no problems reported by the borrower). Are you sure it's charged enough to say on an function properly (need 10-20% charge I think). If you get nowhere might be worth a factory reset (see the how to guides)

This error suggests the firmware upgrade may have gone wrong.

Follow viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3093 and you should be able to bring the device back to life. If you do end up doing DFU programming, leave the device connected to the PC until it boots. You may only see the play button blink for a long time before anything happens.
